A Little About Me
Now that you’ve read about the wonderful women I’ve worked with, let me tell you a little about me.
I’m a busy wife and mom, and 15 years ago was diagnosed with chronic pain. I found out several years later that I have a damaged nerve bundle in my abdominal wall. This has made exercise very tricky for me over the years. I always want to stay active but when I do too much, I’m on the couch for a week!
Because everything we’ve been taught about weight loss revolved around exercising more and burning more calories, it was easy to feel defeated when I couldn’t stay active. Throughout my personal training career, I’ve searched for ways to maintain or lose weight without having to exercise so much, simply because I couldn’t. I also knew I wasn’t the only woman out there who struggled physically, and I wanted to find a solution for them too.
I finally found that solution, and in less than 5 months, both my husband and I lost a combined 90lbs! I didn’t even realize we had that much to lose.
I saw my husband’s confidence soar, and I felt so much better knowing I finally had control without breaking my body down exercising more than I could handle.
I’m addicted to learning. If I don’t know something (and I want to), it’s like a double dare. I’ll research it to the end of the earth to find the answers for myself and my clients.
